SESAME's structure may be broken down as follows:
- The Council, which is the governing body of SESAME;
- The Finance Committee, which is a Committee of the Council;
- The Advisory Committees, which are Advisory Committees of the Council; and
- The Secretariat of SESAME, which consists of the Director, the Directorate and staff.
- The Organizational Chart of SESAME shows how the various Committees and the Secretariat of SESAME are linked to the SESAME Council.
