Academia Sinica (a large cluster of research institutes mainly located in Taipei) administrates Taiwan International Graduate Program (TIGP) . The program information can be found at the web site.

Basically, the program takes in international students with the course given in English and the students will be working towards their Ph.D degrees granted by the different universities within the cluster.

NSRRC is planning to join TIGP program and, in the future, SESAME trainees may have the chance of enrolling in the TIGP working towards their advanced degrees, while they work at NSRRC. Unfortunately, it may be too late this year to include synchrotron research as one of the established research program. However, the trainees interested in this program can still apply on an individual basis and, once accepted, NSRRC can work on how to help the accepted students getting their degrees in the field of synchrotron research.
