SESAME-KEK school on Synchrotron radiation

SESAME - KEK School aims to provide expert presentations in new developments in the science, technology and the applications of synchrotron radiation (SR) in various areas of science. The workshop will be a platform for transfer of knowledge to young scientists, engineers and students in SESAME member countries. The school will mainly focus on the sciences and techniques, which will be developed at SESAME Phase-I beamlines. The SESAME Phase-I beamlines include IR, XRF/XAFS, PX, PDB, Soft X-ray, SAXS/WAXS and EUV. It will be an occasion for discussing and starting new projects among SESAME member countries and Japan, which has several SR facilities currently operational.
