Master in Physics – Specialisation in Non-Destructive Characterisation with Applications for Cultural Heritage

A new Master in Physics offered at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi. Thank you for spreading the news among the Cultural Heritage community. 

  • the program has been designed in close collaboration with the Department of Physics and the LAMS – Laboratoire d’Archeologie Moleculaire et Structurale at Sorbonne Université. It is worth mentioning that Philippe Walter, director of the LAMS, has been involved in the project from the very beginning.
  • the degree awarded is the Master in Physics degree from Sorbonne University. 

The Master program is focused on non-destructive characterization, cultural heritage, with a a strong emphasis on multi-disciplinarity. Labs and projects on cultural heritage artefacts, and a long-term project lead with students in archaeology are among the highlights of the program.

Three full scholarships will be awarded to the most excellent candidates.
