SUNSTONE Seed Funding – New Indico Page for Proposals

SESAME is also offering seed funding from SUNSTONE for two 24-month projects to be executed at the Facility under the leadership of a SESAME staff scientist between October 2025 and October 2027. The projects will need to aim at enhancing SESAME's technical or scientific capabilities, and have objectives that include the development of tailored sample environments, and novel sample preparation or treatment methods that directly benefit the SESAME user community. The two projects to be awarded such funding will be selected on a competitive basis.

New Submission Process: Proposals must now be submitted via the dedicated Indico page:
https://indico.sesame.org.jo/event/24/
The deadline for proposal submission is also Saturday, 12th April 2025.

Interested applicants should first contact the responsible beamline scientist before submitting their proposal. Selected project leaders will have the opportunity to present their proposals at the 19th SESAME Users' Meeting.

For any questions, please contact SESAME’s Users Office: roa.alnatour@sesame.org.jo.
