To fulfil its role to strengthen the science and technology in the Middle East and neighbouring region, and build bridges between diverse societies, and contribute to a culture of peace through international cooperation in science, SESAME is offering hands-on training opportunities on its premises in Allan, Jordan (35 km north-west of Amman and 30 km from the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge crossing of the Jordan River) for scientists and engineers from Members of SESAME1. Trainees will have the opportunity to  work together with the SESAME staff on the design and construction of the SESAME accelerator.
