As a proud partner of e-AGE25, SESAME invites its user community to join this Conference that takes place in Amman, Jordan, from 1–3 December 2025.
Hosted by the Jordanian Universities Research and Learning Network (JUNet), and organised in partnership with SESAME and Aqaba Digital Hub, this year’s conference builds on the strong collaboration between regional and international research communities. Over the years, e-AGE has become a premier platform for scientific cooperation and innovation, bringing together decision-makers, researchers, and educators from more than 50 countries to advance the development of research and education networks in the Arab region and worldwide.
Under the theme “Uniting Minds”, e-AGE25 will consist of three main conferences, namely the 15th ASREN Annual Conference, the 5th Arab Science Cooperation Forum, and the 3rd Arab Event on Open Science. It will explore how research and education networks can better facilitate productive and impactful science collaboration. Key topics will include NRENs (National Research and Education Networks) and digital infrastructure, Open Science, collaborative research, advanced learning technologies, and science cooperation for climate action and earth observation aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
As part of the program, the Women in STEM Entrepreneurship Workshop will take place on 30 November 2025, on the eve of the main conference. This full-day, hands-on workshop will offer practical tools and insights in:
- Grant Writing & Funding
- AI & Digital Transformation
- Open Science & Open-Source Tools
- Digital Marketing, Branding & Communicating Science
The SESAME user community is warmly invited to participate in both the Women in STEM Workshop and the wider e-AGE25 Conference, and so take part in shaping the future of scientific cooperation in the region. There is no registration fee for participating in the Workshop.
