On March 24 and 28, SESAME welcomed experts from more than 40 countries worldwide. They visited SESAME as part of their participation in the 2019 European Research Reactor conference, organized by the European Nuclear Society (ENS)/Research Reactor Fuel Management (RRFM), International Group Operating Research Reactors (IGORR) and the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission (JAEC) at the Crown Plaza Dead Sea Resort, Jordan, from 24-28 March.
2 groups of 24 and 86 experts visited SESAME on Sunday March 24, and Thursday March 28. The visitors were received by the Director of SESAME, Prof. Khaled Toukan, and began their visit with a general introduction to SESAME’s history and activities, followed with a tour of the SESAME’s control room, beamlines, labs and the service area led by SESAME’s scientists.
