Description of Open Day:
SESAME in partnership with LinkSCEEM Project held an Open Day; this activity took place on 27th of April 2013 at SESAME site, machine and lab visit were organized in collaboration with SESAME technical and scientific team, the last session was an introductory presentation about LinkSCEEM - 2 Project and SESAME.
Attendees:
About 45 students from Philadelphia University and University of Jordan joined SESAME - LinkSCEEM open day. The attendees have different academic backgrounds in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Pharmacy and Software Engineering. The participants were divided in two groups to easy access SESAME facility.
Agenda:
The open day program was rich and envelope a general visit to the synchrotron facility (SESAME) including machine and Laboratories as well as oral presentation on the LinkSCEEM-2 project. The open day agenda is summarized in the table below:
