We are pleased to announce the 1st SESAME Industry and Applied Science Workshop, which will be organized in the framework of the OPEN SESAME project and will be held on October 28th and 29th, at SESAME, Allan, Jordan.

The annual SESAME User Meeting will take place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December 2018 in Jordan.
The 15th SESAME users’ meeting will take place in Amman on December 18th and 19th, 2017. The meeting will bring together scientists from the region and world experts in the various fields of synchrotron applications, and will provide a platform for information exchange and discussions of ongoing collaborative efforts within the community.
Given recent progress in construction of the storage ring and the first two beamlines, SESAME is issuing a call for proposals for beamtime that may be granted in the second half of 2017.
SESAME is offering some 10 short-term fellowships (between 2-6 months) through the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Technical Cooperation Project with SESAME.
