The main objectives of the SESAME – LinkSCEEM Summer School is to motivate the scientists in the Middle-East region with topics related to Synchrotron Radiation (SR) and High Performance Computing (HPC) and the applications of these topics in their respective field of research.

About 120 attendees joined SESAME - LinkSCEEM open day with diversity in their fields, institutes and grades, Attendees are coming with different backgrounds as Computer Engineering, Physics and Software Engineering.

The 10th SESAME users' meeting will be organized on November 7 - 9, 2012 in Amman, Jordan.

The Sandwich Training Educational Programme (STEP) aims at offering fellowship opportunities to PhD students in developing countries in the fields of physics and mathematics.
