The 3rd SESAME-LinkSCEEM Summer School took place at SESAME site during the period form 8 - 10 September, 2013. The school was organized and funded by the LinkSCEEM-2 FP7 project in collaboration with Synchrotron-light for Experimental Science and Applications in the Middle East (SESAME).

The main objectives of the SESAME – LinkSCEEM Summer School is to motivate the scientists in the Middle-East region with topics related to Synchrotron Radiation (SR) and High Performance Computing (HPC) and the applications of these topics in their respective field of research.

About 120 attendees joined SESAME - LinkSCEEM open day with diversity in their fields, institutes and grades, Attendees are coming with different backgrounds as Computer Engineering, Physics and Software Engineering.
